What Are the Differences Between These Therapies?

🔹 Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a short-term, goal-oriented therapy that helps identify and challenge negative or unhelpful thought patterns. It equips individuals with practical self-help strategies to reframe their thinking and make positive changes. CBT is particularly effective for issues such as depression, anxiety, OCD, stress, anger management, and phobias.

🔹 Gestalt Therapy
Gestalt Therapy emphasizes self-awareness and living in the present moment. It encourages clients to take personal responsibility for their experiences and reactions rather than being guided by past conditioning. This approach is beneficial for depression, anxiety, chronic stress, family conflicts, relationship issues, grief, and trauma.

🔹 Psychodynamic Therapy
Rooted in psychoanalysis, this therapy explores how early life experiences and unconscious motivations shape current behaviors. Through deep conversations about daily life, childhood, and dreams, clients uncover repressed emotions and gain insight into their patterns. It is particularly helpful for those experiencing chronic sadness, feelings of emptiness, and unresolved emotional struggles.

🔹 Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a scientifically validated treatment for trauma and unresolved negative experiences. By using bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or taps), this therapy helps reprocess distressing memories and replace negative beliefs with positive ones. Sessions focus on past events rather than current stressors, making EMDR especially effective for individuals dealing with trauma and PTSD.

When Might You Need Therapy?

Therapy isn't just for those with mental health conditions. More and more people are realizing that everyone can benefit from professional support.

Often, clients seek therapy during a difficult period (such as a divorce or major life transition), find relief, and then stop therapy—only to see old patterns resurface. Why? Because deep-rooted subconscious patterns require consistent effort to change. Therapy is like going to the gym: your coach can guide you, but only you can do the work to grow stronger.

Some common reasons to seek therapy include:

✔️ Depression & Anxiety
✔️ Stress Management
✔️ Addiction Recovery
✔️ Relationship & Family Issues
✔️ Trauma & Abuse Recovery
✔️ Grief & Loss Coping
✔️ Self-Esteem & Motivation
✔️ Anger Management
✔️ Career Challenges
✔️ Navigating Life Changes

Before beginning, we offer a welcoming call to discuss your situation and how we can support you.

How Many Sessions Do I Need?

The number of sessions depends on your goals. Are you working through a specific situation, or do you need deeper work on lifelong patterns or trauma?

The best way to determine this is to book a welcoming call with our practitioner, who can assess your needs and suggest an appropriate plan.

Is Theta Healing a religion? Do I need to be religious for it to work?

No. Theta Healing is a spiritual practice based on energy work and intuition. It's open to everyone. While it does not require religious beliefs, an openness to a higher life force or creative energy is beneficial for effective healing.
